About me
Building Rabwah2045 from the heart.
I am K. Nadeem Arif, an entrepreneur in Germany for more than 30 years. For me, Rabwah2045 is more than a project. It is a personal mission: to build a platform that gives Rabwah's youth the opportunities my generation had to leave the city to find.

Founder Rabwah2045
My connection to Rabwah
1948
My grandfather was one of the first settlers of Rabwah, migrating from Qadian, India, and settling in Rabwah in 1948.
1974
During a time of upheaval, our home in Lahore was set on fire. Thanks to quick intervention the damage was contained, but to protect our lives, my family fled from Lahore to Rabwah.
1982
After our family business in Lahore was attacked and my mother's children were threatened, she moved us five children to Rabwah while my father worked in Saudi Arabia. I lived in Rabwah from 1982 to 1984, then emigrated with my father, spending a year in Sweden before settling in Germany in 1985.
Health hardships and leading remotely
I lead from home. It became my strength.
In 2007, my health began to deteriorate. It took nine years until I was finally diagnosed with ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). Today I live with a severe disability, chronic pain and limited mobility. I rarely leave my home and work exclusively from my bed.
And yet, for more than a decade, I have led my companies 100% remotely. That is one reason I know, from my own life, what remote-first structures make possible: for people with health barriers, for women, for anyone the traditional economy overlooks.
Why Rabwah2045 matters to me
Why this. Why now.
Rabwah2045 is my way of giving back: building opportunity where it is needed most. I want to connect Rabwah's youth with founders, mentors, capital, coworking infrastructure and international market access, so they can learn, build, launch startups, and lead independent, remote-first companies from their own city.
There is also a personal urgency. I do not know how much time my health will allow me to work. What drives me now is to lay a foundation strong enough that Rabwah2045 can stand on its own, continue and grow beyond me, carried forward by the community it belongs to.
