My grandfather was among the first settlers of Rabwah. Decades later, 130 people there worked remotely for my company in Germany. The jobs were real, but they belonged to a German company. Not one company was created in Rabwah. Rabwah2045 is built to change that.

The first pilot gives 3 to 5 founder teams six months of support and funding to prove their company works. It needs 50,000 to 100,000 euros. Our working scenario is 75,000 euros.

The money for the teams is released in three steps:

company formation→product and first customers→early traction

The rest pays for a local coordinator, a coworking hub, operations, tools and legal work.

Later, the Social Business Fund invests in proven teams. Investors get back at most what they put in. Any return above that stays in Rabwah.

The school comes before the money for a reason. The only causal study of a comparable program, Start-Up Chile, found that funding alone had no effect. Funding together with structured founder training did.
