Why I am asking you

My grandfather was among the first settlers of Rabwah in 1948. Decades later, 130 people there worked remotely for my company in Germany. Payments, delivery and management all worked, for years.

Yet not one company was created in Rabwah. When the work moved, the income moved with it, and the city was left where it started. That gap is why Rabwah2045 exists. The goal is companies owned in Rabwah.

Rabwah was built on empty land in 1948 by people who had to start over. About 80,000 people live there today. The city has never had industry or major employers.

About 1,000,000 people worldwide are estimated to have roots in Rabwah. Many of them already support family there.

In 2025, schools from Rabwah produced Pakistan's top candidates at the independent Aga Khan Examination Board. Then the talent leaves, because there are too few companies to work for.

Remote work and AI changed what a small team can sell. Software, automation and digital services can be built in Rabwah and sold abroad.

Pakistan produces about 73,000 IT graduates a year. Member companies of P@SHA, the national IT industry association, hired only 13,350 of them in one year.

8 weeks, selective. Teams validate a real business.

3 to 5 teams, 6 months, funding released per milestone.

Social Business Fund

follow-on investment of 20,000 to 50,000 euros in proven teams.

The school comes before the money for a reason. The only causal study of a comparable program, Start-Up Chile, found that funding alone had no effect. Funding together with structured founder training did.

Successful teams come back as mentors for the next cohort.

3 to 5 from the AI Founder Fellowship, for 6 months.

What counts as proof

at least three teams with revenue or a signed pilot customer outside Pakistan. Each team is a registered company based in Rabwah. All of it within six months.

The board comes from the Founding Circle itself. Advisors with the right expertise take direct oversight roles. Rabwah2045 does not depend on one person.

Rabwah2045 is being set up as a German non-profit company (gemeinnützige GmbH). It carries the legal and financial structure.

Customers and revenue sit outside Pakistan.

The Social Business Fund will be a separate company, modeled on the social business structure of Professor Muhammad Yunus. Investors get back at most the capital they put in. Any return above that is reinvested in Rabwah.
